SEN Teacher | Full-time | September Start

A SEN School in Plaistow is looking for a SEN Teacher to join their wonderful team of educators. This is a full-time role and will start in September.

• Educates students aged 5-19 with PMLD and ASD
• Facilitates a safe and secure learning environment
• Offers each student a personalised learning journey to fit their sensory, behavioural, communication, and medical needs
• Provides life-enriching experiences to support students to be independent and take part in society in a meaningful way
• Provides an inspiring, educational, creative, and individualised environment for both their students and staff

About you and your role as a SEN Teacher:

• Provide an up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
• Have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
• Outstanding/Good teaching experience with SEN students
• Empathetic, caring individual with a “can-do” attitude
• Effectively plan educational programs
• Implement appropriate assessment, objective setting, recording, reporting, and evaluation of educational programs
• Ensure that student learning experiences are organised in a progression that supports the development of each individual
