Science Teacher / Subject Leader (SEN School) – East Finchley
Temp to Perm | Full-Time from September
A welcoming and well-resourced specialist secondary school in East Finchley is seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher / Subject Leader to join their team from September on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

The Role:
- Teach Science across Key Stages, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons suited to students with additional needs
- Teach 4 days per week, with a reduced timetable
- Spend 1 day per week leading Science across the school (PPA Subject Leadership), driving curriculum development and supporting teaching and learning
- Play a key role in shaping a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes student progress and independence
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching Science
- Experience working with autistic students is essential
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and adaptive teaching approaches
- Confident in leading a subject area and supporting colleagues
- Passionate about making a positive difference in a specialist setting
