About the Role
Destination Education are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive primary school in Walthamstow.
This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant who can provide classroom support, small group interventions, and one-to-one assistance where required. You will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Provide small group and one-to-one support for pupils who need additional help.
• Assist with planning and delivering targeted interventions.
• Help monitor and record pupil progress.
• Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs where required.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working in a primary school or educational setting.
• Strong understanding of supporting pupils with different learning needs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
