Destination Education are currently working with an excellent Primary School based in a lovely part of Islington, North London. This wonderful Primary School are looking for an experience Year 3 Teacher to work on a full time basis starting from mid March until the end of the academic year with a permanent vacancy being available next year to teach the same class as they go into year 4. This school can accommodate to all staff whether you are choosing to drive or use public transport.
This lovely school is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 3 Teacher to join there dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the Year 3 curriculum, ensuring the academic progress of all students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and values diversity.
- Assess student learning through various formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary units of study and participate in grade-level meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents/guardians, and the wider school community through effective communication and involvement in school events and activities.
- Utilise innovative teaching methods, technology, and resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Hold a QTS certificate.
- Experience teaching primary school students, preferably in Year 3 or similar grade level (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous learning.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and create a supportive learning environment.
