Destination Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving Primary School in Barnet. As a Primary Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire pupils across the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and progress.
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and the wider school community.
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives, clubs, and enrichment activities.
- Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Has recent experience teaching in KS1 or KS2.
- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Has strong classroom management and a reflective teaching approach.
- Is creative, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
