About the Role
Destination Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving Primary School in Barnet. This full-time role is available for an immediate or October 2025 start, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive school community that values creativity, collaboration, and academic excellence. As a Primary Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and inspire pupils across the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering curiosity and creativity, alongside excellent classroom management skills and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and progress.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and the wider school community.
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives, clubs, and enrichment activities.
  • Maintain high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Has recent experience teaching in KS1 or KS2.
  • Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Has strong classroom management and a reflective teaching approach.
  • Is creative, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
