Destination Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving Primary School in Redbridge. As a Primary Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning. You will ensure all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately, using creative teaching approaches and effective classroom management. The role will involve working closely with colleagues and support staff to maintain high academic standards and provide a stimulating, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and parents to ensure each child thrives.
• Contribute to school initiatives, enrichment activities, and after-school clubs.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and pupil wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective differentiation strategies.
• Is passionate, creative, and committed to making a positive difference.
