Teaching Assistants & SEN Teaching Assistants – East Finchley
Location: East Finchley, North London
Start Date: Immediate 
Roles: Full-time & Long-term

Destination Education is working in partnership with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in East Finchley that is looking to appoint enthusiastic Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible with a number of roles coming available. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, as well as work one-to-one with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support for the class teacher and pupils.
• Deliver tailored support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with SEN such as Autism, ADHD, or Speech & Language needs.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Encourage and motivate pupils to reach their full potential both academically and socially.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (desirable).
• A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the update system (We can support by putting a DBS in place)
