Here at Destination Education we work closely with Barnet Special Education who oversee 3 'OUTSTANDING' SEN Schools:

• Oak Lodge (East Finchley station)
• Oakbridge (Edgware station)
• Windmill (High Barnet station)

I can confirm that all 3 of these schools are modern and well resourced SEN settings, all lead by inspiring and hands on Headteachers who have created a warm sense of community in their schools. 

I've been told that the most effective SEN TA's for these settings can quickly build positive relationships with young people. 

If you have Primary SEN experience you might be better suited to Windmill; an all through school that caters for Primary and Secondary aged students. Oakbridge and Oak Lodge are both Secondary settings - but if you have SEN experience we will happily arrange a paid trial for you in any of these 3 schools! 

Having ASD (Verbal and non Verbal Autism experience) is essential for all of these roles. 

If you've worked in a school with ASD students OR if you care for an ASD sibling or family member, this experience will be extremely valuable. 

We pay £103 to £125 per day for an SEN TA with suitable ASD experience. 

Among all 3 schools we have part-time, full time and casual day to day roles available immediately, and in January!
