A welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in East Finchley is looking for a compassionate and proactive ASD Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder across primary and secondary age groups.

The Role
You will:

• Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) on a 1:1 and small-group basis
• Assist with communication, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Help implement individual learning and behaviour strategies
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive social interaction
• Support pupils with sensory and emotional needs throughout the school day

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:

• Patient, calm, and empathetic
• Passionate about SEN and inclusive education
• Experienced working with ASD, SEN, or young people (preferred but not essential)
• Confident supporting challenging behaviour when required
• A strong communicator and team player
• Available full-time during term time
