English Teacher | Full-time | Chigwell

Looking for an exciting new opportunity in education? 

Here at Destination Education, we are looking for a confident, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic English teacher to join a thriving 11-18 co-educational academy in Chigwell. This will be a full-time position starting in September. The school has a 'good' Ofsted rating and is dedicated to providing opportunities for every student to excel academically and personally. With the aim of producing well-rounded, confident, and respectful members of society. 
 
English Teacher responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and other staff members. 
• Prepare engaging lessons and activities in accordance with the curriculum. 
• Utilize innovative teaching methods, technology, and resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

English Teacher requirements:

• Hold QTS.
• Up-to-date Enhanced DBS.
• Fully qualified teacher with a good track record teaching English Language and Literature at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Confidence in managing student behaviour
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
