Here at Destination Education we are looking for a confident and passionate RE Teacher to join an 11-18 Academy for girls in Romford, full-time, until the end of the academic year.

You will be working at an over-achieving academy whose education results in students achieving above average exam results, amongst a supportive team of staff.

RE Teacher Responsibilities:

• Devising and delivering engaging lessons based on curriculum guidelines
• Encouraging students to participate and stay focused throughout lessons
• Setting and marking homework that allows students to continue practicing their skills outside the classroom
• Measure students’ progress
• Develop reports showcasing students’ achievements and behaviours

RE Teacher Requirements:

• Hold QTS
• Superior knowledge and broad intellectual passion for the subject
• Fully qualified teacher with a good track record teaching RE at KS3 and KS4
• Basic computer skills, including the use of, Word and PowerPoint
• An organised individual with great management skills
• A creative thinker that will engage students and aid learning
