SEN Teaching Assistant – Autism Focus (Secondary SEN School)

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with Autism (ASC) experience looking for a rewarding role in a truly supportive and outstanding school environment?
We are working with a highly regarded specialist secondary SEN school in East Finchley, supporting students aged 11–19 with a wide range of learning needs, including Autism, communication needs, and complex learning difficulties. The school has been rated ‘Outstanding’ across multiple inspections and holds Advanced Autism Accreditation, reflecting the exceptional quality of its provision.

The Role

  • Supporting students with Autism (verbal and non-verbal) and complex needs
  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised, student-centred learning
  • Building strong, positive relationships to support emotional regulation and engagement
  • Helping students develop independence, confidence, and social skills

Pay

  • £105 – £120 per day
  • Based on experience, particularly with complex needs and ASC support
